Buhl
Known for having “The world’s finest drinking water,” this small community is big on recreation! It’s also a growing area offering prime residential building lots. Recreation is all walkable to Billy’s Cafe and the Hydeaway Bar.
Swimming beaches and rustic camping
Stubler Beach is one of the nicest swimming areas on the Range, with a sandy beach and fishing pier located within walking distance of the community and the Mesabi Trail. A rustic campground is situated among towering Norway pines and overlooks the beach and Stubler Pit, a former mine pit now filled with clear water filtered through the hard rock geological formations of the region.
Disc golf is a scenic setting
The Judson Pit Disc Golf Course is not only the highest-rated in the region, according to UDisc, is one of the most scenic. The course wraps around Judson Pit, another small pit in the same area as Stubler. With 18 well-designed holes, it’s a must-play for disc golf enthusiasts.
