Land of the Loon Festival

The Land of the Loon Festival stands as Virginia’s signature celebration and one of the most anticipated events of the summer. Happening each June in Olcott Park, this two-day festival draws thousands of visitors who come to experience the rich heritage of the Iron Range.

What makes this festival special? For starters, you’ll find over dozens of vendors selling unique handcrafted items you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re coming with your family, you’ll enjoy the children’s area with entertainment with special programming all day long. The food court is another highlight, offering delicious Finnish, Italian, Slovenian, and other international dishes that reflect the area’s mining heritage.

Fourth of July Celebration
