A Unique Space for Meetings on the Range

Mid-sized meetings and even conferences will find the most unique space north of the Twin Cities at Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm. This museum and research center sitting on more than 600 acres features indoor and outdoor exhibits, a working vintage trolley, a mining ghost town, 2,000-seat amphitheater and multiple spaces for groups.

The Pavilion is a three-season space designed for meetings and offers seating at rounds for 230. In the museum, Taconite Square overlooks reclaimed minelands and Redhead Mountain Bike Park. Just off the 120-seat theater, “Tac Square” can seat 135 at rounds.

Additional break-out space an be found in the library, onsite restaurant, film lab space, or even in the covered outdoor food court.

In-house catering and many amenities make this a great choice. Just out the door, find paved trails in Heritage Park that lead to exhibits to explore, and find Geology Hall, the Immigrant Story exhibit, and temporary exhibits inside. For a walking/talking session of your meeting, hit the trails of Redhead Mountain Bike Park, or ride the trolley to Glen Location for more trails and exhibits.
