Another weekend is close at hand, and the fun holiday events keep on coming! Check out all, some, or even just one of these activities. They are sure to put some tinsel on your tree!
Thursday, December 14
5:00-8:00 p.m. – Bringing Light to Chisholm. There will be llamas, music, shopping and family fun. And don’t forget the lights!
7 p.m. – Enjoy the sounds of the season with the Mesabi Community Band at the Eveleth Auditorium. Admission is free but nonperishable food items or cash donations will go to the Quad Cities Food Shelf.

And, if “merriment, music and mayhem aren’t your thing, you might want to try curling and reward yourself with a burger basket at Curl Mesabi, 5:30-8:00. Burger basket is $12, curling is $10.

10:00 a.m. to Noon – Kim Grillo performs at Sunrise Bakery in Hibbing.
10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Kids can build a special holiday craft at Lowe’s, also in Hibbing. Register here.
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aurora’s Holiday Heritage event is full of crafts, food and kids’ events at the Aurora Community Center
5:00-7:00 p.m. Candy Canes with Santa at the Mountain Iron Community Center
6:00-8:30 p.m. Comedy with Bob Oesterrieich at the Do You in Hibbing
6:00-9:00 p.m. Comedy night at Jim’s Sports Bar in Chisholm
7:00 p.m. See The Nutcracker at Mesabi East High School

9:00 a.m. to Noon Bump and Skate at Iron Trail Motors Event Center!
11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Last Minute Holiday Makers Market continues at the Cotton Community Center
2:00 p.m. the Lyric Christmas Extravaganza is back! Get your tickets if you missed Saturday’s run.
