2. Virginia Heritage Museum

The museum complex includes the former park superintendent’s residence (built in 1910), a 1913 Finnish-style log house, and a 1930s tourist cabin. Permanent exhibits spotlight Virginia’s logging and lumbering industries and showcase the incredible gardens once cultivated by park master gardener Gunnar Peterson.

3. Rouchleau Mine Pit (Thomas Rukavina Memorial) Bridge
Talk about wow factor! The Rouchleau Mine Pit Bridge is a must-see site in Virginia. This incredible engineering achievement spans one of the deepest open-pit mines in the entire region.
