Opportunities for fun on the Range haven’t slowed down. In fact, the weekend before Christmas is looking full of activities, both indoors and out!
Thursday, December 21
5:30 p.m. There’s a film festival at Minnesota Discovery Center, with the screening of Canusa, a feature film made in Chisholm, and the work of three local filmmakers. Get tickets today!
Friday, December 22
6:00-8:30 p.m. – Back of the Shack music @ the Sugar Shack in Virginia. Pizzas, sweets and local music reign here. Beer and win available.
10:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. – Ugly Sweater Party at the Do You in Hibbing
Saturday, December 23
9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Explore a new snowshoeing area: McDavitt Recreation Area. Register here. This event is free if you have donated $25 or more in the past year to the Friends of the Sax-Zim Bog. Donate today!
9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – It’s never too late to pick up some goodies for your holiday table! The Tourist Center Senior Citizens in Hibbing are hosting a bake sale with plenty of homemade treats to go around. Get in some last-second shopping at their Gift Store as well!
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – The Sugar Shack is hosting a shopping event with local vendors and the Shack’s bakery items for sale.
4:00-7:00 p.m. – Dig deep in your closet for an Ugly Sweater Party at The Ore House in Gilbert
10:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. – The Do You in Hibbing is opening it’s doors for a Winter White Party. Wear white and dance the night away!
