The Giants Ridge groomers take great pride in their work and promise the best experience conditions allow. Unlike ski areas that receive a “warming effect” from Lake Superior, the snow at Giants Ridge stays better longer. Giants Ridge also has new snow guns to keep the snow coming if Mother Nature isn’t cooperating.

During the week, the slopes are serene and the prices are already low. The well-appointed Chalet is clean and new, and The Burnt Onion restaurant is a huge step up from our already-great cafeteria food.

Onsite, The Lodge is an all-suites, full-service hotel with a restaurant, pool, spa with ski-in/ski-out at the foot of the ski mountain. Bedrooms range from one to four, just like The Villas, which are right down the road.

You’ll also find we have great internet if you need to get a little work in during your stay. Don’t worry about slow or spotty connections. Even though Giants Ridge sits partially in the Superior National Forest, this location is close to amenities like high-speed internet, a grocery store in nearby Biwabik, offsite dining – we recommend the Whistling Bird, Wandering Pines, The Copper Nickel, Rudy’s or The Hive, to name a few. And don’t forget Neighbor’s BBQ in The Lodge.
