Our Four Favorite Holiday Festivals on the Range

This winter, be sure to visit our four favorite holiday festivals on the Range! Whether visiting family or just getting out of town for a Christmas vacation this season, visitors to the Iron Range have four holiday festivals in our area that are sure to make their Christmas vacation a festive one!

Weihnachtsfest

This unique celebration is held in Biwabik on December 6 (2025) and is the Germanic celebration of
Christmas. The festival features a Candy Haus, live music, s’mores over campfires in the park, and
holiday fireworks! It’s a warm, feel-good celebration that really hits all those jolly feelings.

Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees takes place in Virginia, MN and consists of several events throughout the week with
the crowning event of the festival being their annual Twilight Holiday Parade on November 22  (2025),
which is followed by fireworks over Silver Lake.

Bringing Light to Chisholm

A cute downtown event in Chisholm, MN that lights up the entire street with impressive Christmas
decorations. Attendees can explore the downtown lights while enjoying the holiday petting zoo, horse
drawn carriage rides, carolers, and a variety of mini events up and down Lake Street.

Spirit of Unity Holiday Parade

This seasonal Hibbing parade will be a bit special this year, as they are anticipating the relighting of the
recently renovated historic downtown Androy sign! The holiday parade takes place on November 24
(2025) on Howard Street.

There will also be a ton of craft vendor marketplaces for some holiday shopping, music events, and even
a snowboarding Santa at Giants Ridge shortly before the end of the holiday season! We have all of these
compiled together in a separate Christmas calendar for our holiday season visitors to use as a Christmas
guide to The Range this year. So, come visit and be merry with us this November and December on the
