Top 4 Halloween Haunts on the Iron Range

It’s the time of year when things are getting spooky out there! For those looking for some Halloween themed-fun on the Iron Range, here are our top four Halloween haunts to check out!

All Hallow’s Eve Cocktail Clueseum

The Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm, MN annually holds a Clueseum murder-mystery themed
event in October, but this year it comes with a bit of a twist. On October 31 st this Halloween soiree will
place guests in the middle of a who-done-it mystery complete with clues to discover, eerie atmosphere,
costumes, and plenty of drinks and appetizers for all the guys and ghouls attending the All Hallow’s Eve
Cocktail Clueseum to enjoy.

Screamatorium

A downtown haunted house in Virginia, MN hosted by CHAIR (Culture, Humanities, and Arts on the Iron
Range) is taking place on select dates this October through Halloween! There are additional hours for
Screamatorium Jr. which is a more kid friendly experience, but Halloween thrill seekers wanting
something to scream about should plan to creep over to Screamatorium.

Howl-o-Ween Pet Parade

A cute and family friendly Halloween experience that takes place in downtown Chisholm annually during
their Trunk-or-Treat event on October 29, 2025 that takes over the main thoroughfare. Pets and their
owners walk up the length of Lake Street in full costume with the entire downtown displaying their
spookiest decorations. Bring your own pet or just come and enjoy the Pet Parade!

Scream on the Greens

The annual haunted minigolf at Greens on Foreteenth are back! Scream on the Greens is a fit for family
fun time with GLO golf balls, animatronics, and a delightfully ghoulish good time all around. Games take
place on October 24 and 25 beginning at 7:00 pm.

Halloween comes but once a year, and it’s the best excuse to get dressed up and get out to enjoy the
macabre, the scary, and those things that give us the chills in the best way. Let your ghoulish side out to
play on the Iron Range this Halloween season!
