Two Valentine’s Day Itineraries for Two on The Range

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and while, yes, it is the most romantic day of the year, it is also one of the most stressful! But for visitors spending February on The Range we have two Valentine’s Day itineraries for two to help you crank up the romance this Valentine’s Day!

Giants Ridge

Giants Ridge will have live folk music by Morning Bird at their on-site restaurant, Burnt Onion Kitchen! It’s a perfect way for couples to cap off an evening on the slopes or snowshoeing their winter trails – because what is more romantic than a day of fun and exploring followed by amazing food and great tunes over drinks?

Even better, for couples with kids who want a bit of alone time, Giants Ridge will also have their snow sports school for the weekend which gives parents a chance to enjoy some free time while their kids learn how to ski & snowboard!

Valentine’s weekend has an additional performance the following day too, so why not double down for a full Valentine’s Day weekend that is suited for couples both with and without kids in tow!

Full Moon Snowshoe Hike & Boomtown Dinner

The Minnesota Discovery Center will be hosting their Full Moon Snowshoe Hike that takes snowshoers around the beautiful winter snowscapes of the Redhead MTB Park and the historic Glenn Location the night before Valentine’s Day. It’s a great opportunity for some moonlit romance with a dash of adventure!

Couples can explore on their own as well with snowshoe trails available during the day as well, with snowshoes available to rent at the Minnesota Discovery Center winter entrance.

The following night is Boomtown Hibbing’s Valentines Day dinner with selections like their shrimp rosé pasta and surf & turf for 2 which is a perfect end to a weekend of snowshoeing!
