3 Best Spots on The Range for Vikings Fans to SKOL
The Vikings are having a phenomenal year and Vikings fans across Minnesota and beyond are all on the edge of our seats! For Vikings fans who are visiting The Range this football season and don’t want to miss out on a game, we have quite the list of area sports bars for you to SKOL at with fans just as energized as you are!
1. Palmers – Hibbing
Our first on the list is Palmers in Hibbing! The energy couldn’t be higher at this local favorite, every Vikings score is celebrated with a victory lap with their Vikings flag bearer and free Jello shots all around and their menu has some of the best burgers on The Range.
Also, a fun fact about this pick, there is a Green Bay Packers flag on the ceiling by the bar that is contractually obligated to remain there until the Vikings win a Superbowl, a stipulation included by the original building owner. So, there will certainly be a lot of celebration and ceremony at Palmers should the Vikings make the big win!
2. Jim’s Sports Club – Chisholm
Next up is Jim’s Sports Club in Chisholm with some special deals throughout games and a free food spread during half-time. They will also occasionally have their outdoor patio set up with warming stations for fans to step away and catch their breath outside. Because let’s face it, the Vikings seem to enjoy keeping games very, very close at times.
3. The Rink – Eveleth
Finally, we have The Rink in Eveleth. Yes, it is in fact a hockey sports bar, but it’s still a fantastic place to catch a game with other sports fanatics! They have an impressive menu with some weekend specials that game watchers will love. Plus, for Vikings fans who also love hockey there is a ton of sports memorabilia throughout The Rink to enjoy including hockey themed booths, an ice rink floor design and a ton of sports decorations to marvel at!
Sports are best enjoyed with other fans, that’s why arena seating is always buzzing with energy. Travelling shouldn’t take away the fun of enjoying your favorite team scoring a touchdown or a making highlight making interception, but as long as there are fans to celebrate those moments with every game day can feel like the Superbowl.
