The Lyric Center for the Arts, housed in the historic Lyric building in Virginia, hosts exhibitions, workshops and performances at The First Stage Gallery. Hours of operation are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Click here to find information about current exhibits and events.
The Lyric Center for the Arts and First Stage Gallery are located in downtown Virginia at 510 West Chestnut St.
The gallery, showing exhibitions monthly, is open Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and for special events and activities.
The Lyric Center is a circa 1912 opera house-turned-movie-theater-turned-retail space. An effort is underway to restore it to its performance glory.
