Come out in your canoe or kayak and enjoy a nice paddle under the light of the moon! Listen to loons, fish a little if you want, and have fun. The Laurentian Environmental Center has canoes you can borrow on site and kids are welcome! We will also have a fire going, so you can paddle then, sit by the fire, or just come sit by the fire and hang out, it’s up to you. We will provide some snacks and non-alcoholic beverages since the property is owned by the school district. The moon rises at 6:15 pm and will be visible before we start paddling. The sun sets at 6:30pm. Things to bring are clothing for the projected weather, food, water, headlamp, and whatever gear you need to have a safe canoe or kayak experience. We hope to see you out there with us!!
