Christopher Welter, archivist at Minnesota Discovery Center’s Iron Range Research Center, will give a presentation based upon his original research. Using a slideshow, he will summarize the collective experiences of dozens of passengers with ties to Minnesota. He will also highlight a couple Iron Rangers–including a single male miner from Virginia with a dubious survival story, as well as an elderly widowed mother traveling to Hibbing to be reunited with her adult sons for the first time in more than a decade!
Admission is free.
